The biggest restriction, however, is the fact that beta testing is currently available in South Korea only. There’s no word yet on when the beta program would be open to accepting international participants.
Samsung launched the beta program to fulfill what it said nearly eight months ago about the timepiece and the fitness and activity tracker getting iOS support, so they can be paired with iOS-running devices. The goal of the program is to generate feedback from testers, so that Samsung can improve the Gear Manager app for iOS, as per SamMobile.
If Samsung succeed on this test, this will be a big help to its profits. Many Apple Watch users has been disappointed with the performance of the device and now they can switch to Samsung Gear and still use their iPhone.

With the Gear S2, Samsung expanded compatibility and support to all Android devices. Running a version of Tizen, the Gear S2 and Gear Fit 2 have a number of third-party apps, customizable watch faces, and notable features like Samsung Pay for the former device.
Leaked back in April, the Gear Manager allows users to select what notifications are sent to the watch, customize the experience, and download Gear Apps. Due to the restricted nature of iOS compared to Android, this is pretty much in-line with the experience of other third-party smartwatches.
