Sony has been the leader in gaming consoles for a few years though Xbox is not far behind. Now, Sony has come into the Virtual Reality war joining a lot of big companies such as google and facebook. How does the PS4 VR different? You will find out on October 13, the release date of the $400 Sony PlayStation 4 Virtual Reality device.
Imagine all the games you can play with the PlayStation VR with the power of the PS 4. Sounds like fun to me.

What is in the box?
With just a few weeks until launch, Sony’s showing off the headset in a new unboxing.
Excluding all the cables in the package, you only need a few things to get started with PlayStation VR:
- The PlayStation VR headset.
- The Processor Unit: a small box that looks like a small PS4, which acts as a middleman between the headset and the PS4 console.
- A small set of stereo earbuds (for use with the VR headset, optionally).
- The 18-game demo disc that comes with every headset.
In the “Core” package, which costs $400, there is no PlayStation Camera. As the PlayStation Camera is required to use the PlayStation VR headset with PlayStation 4, you can either buy one separately or get a $500 bundle.
Where is the motion controllers?
Well, the motion controllers is not part of the package and is sold separately. You can buy a bundle that will cost you $500 and get the PlayStation Camera and two PlayStation Move Controllers.
Do you have the Playstation Move from PS3?
If you have, surely you can use it together with the camera. You will have no issues with compatibility at all. But if not, you can buy it now and instantly enjoy the PlayStation VR on October 13th.
